Ladies, please note — drinking upto five cups of coffee daily can protect you from developing oestrogen-receptor negative breast cancer, which is one of the most aggressive forms of the disease, says a study.

Researchers at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden have carried out the study and found that downing the caffeine drink everyday slashes a woman’s risk of developing oestrogen -receptor negative breast cancer (ER-negative).
According to them, women can drink up to five cups of coffee daily to stave off the disease that is more dangerous than oestrogen-receptor positive breast cancer as chemotherapy remains often the only option.
The researchers have, in fact, based their findings on an analysis of data from 6,000 post-menopausal women, the Daily Express reported.
However, experts claim that earlier studies suggested that drinking coffee could increase the risk of breast cancer in women.
