The six-year-old scared bull Shambo at the multi-faith Skanda Vale temple in west Wales was put to death by lethal injection on Friday morning, according to Government vets.

“Goodbye Shambo, come back as a human next time,” Brother James shouted, with tears in his eyes.
Although many agree that the law of the land has to be accepted, they question why the Welsh assembly Government could not wait for the Goverdhan Charitable Trust in Mahrashtra-— which had written saying Shambo would be taken under its care — to get permission from the Indian government to take away the bull from here.
There is also dis-satisfaction that the request for a second test for bovine TB was declined by the government. “Heavens would not have fallen, if another test was done,” said a priest.
