At least 18 holiday revellers drowned in the sea while bathing near Pakistan's Gadani harbour.
According to the police, thousands of people had come to Gadani, 50 km southwest of Karachi, to celebrate the Eid ul-Fitr festival over the weekend. As many as 25 people got swept away into the deep sea while trying to bathe, The News reported on Tuesday.

While local fisherman saved seven of the holidaymakers, the rest were drowned.
