'Four foreign troops die'

Four foreign troops died in southern Afghanistan of "non-battle related injuries," the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said today.

Four foreign troops died in southern Afghanistan of "non-battle related injuries," the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said on Sunday.

"Four International Security Assistance Force service members died as a result of non-battle related injuries in southern Afghanistan yesterday (Saturday)," it said in a statement.

In line with policy, it did not give further details of what happened or which country the troops were from. There are 130,000 international forces in Afghanistan, of which 90,000 are from the United States.
