French Holocaust memorial defaced with swastikas

French Interior Minister Michele Alliot-Marie has condemned anti-Semitic inscriptions made at the memorial in Drancy, northeast of Paris, a site representing "the memory of the deportation and extermination of France's Jews." The police headquarters of the Seine-Saint-Denis region say large swastikas were found on Saturday painted on a train car and pillar that are central to the Drancy memorial site.
