A gunman shot dead three persons at a spa near a major mall in the US state of Wisconsin Sunday morning, before killing himself.

The gunman, Radcliffe Franklin Haughton, was estranged from his wife, who worked at that spa. It was not clear yet if the wife was among the victims.

Haughton was acting alone. The police said he had a history of domestic violence and abuse. His wife had obtained a restraining order against him after he slashed the tyres of her car earlier this month.
