Indian business leaders gathered in London for a climate change initiative appear to have their sights set firmly on acquiring British clean coal technologies that they say will benefit small and medium enterprises in India. But funding and patent issues remain a problem.

The UK-India Business Leaders Climate Group — set up by David Cameron three months before he became Prime Minister — comprising key business leaders from both countries. Its report, launched by British foreign minister William Hague, says a shift to low carbon technologies will provide “major business opportunities.”
