The Indo-US relationship has become stronger under the Obama Administration and is on a "very promising" trajectory, encompassing cooperation in areas like energy, climate change, trade and science and technology, a top American official has said.

"Thanks to the leadership of President (Barack) Obama and (the) Secretary (of State Hillary) Clinton, relations have never been better, and will continue on their very promising trajectory — both in the near future and over the long-term," Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Robert Blake, said. "That's why President Obama has called India an ‘indispensable partner', he said.
