Iran: Sikh marriage issue discussed

External affairs minister Salman Khurshid has raised the issues of registering Sikh community marriages in Iran. Sikhs in Iran have been complaining about the government's not registering their marriages. Khurshid took up the issue with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi.

Meanwhile, in a bid to boost the dwindling oil import, Tehran has offered production-sharing-agreement for India in one of their oil fields. Iran is offering such a pact for the first time in 34 years to any country. Iran has also told India that they could be a "reliable partner in energy security".
