Pop star Katy Perry's marriage to funnyman Russell Brand won't be an extravagant affair - the couple are reportedly planning an intimate party in India.
Perry's friend R&B star Rihanna has suggested they could get hitched in India where the 34-year-old British comedian proposed on New Year's Eve.
They will fly their select guests to a secret location for seven days of celebrations and it looks like the place could be Goa, reported News of the World.
The couple are sending a henna-inspired hand-shaped invite, complete with a huge diamond engagement ring, which hints at an exotic location. It tells guests they'll need a passport and at least a week off work.
The date on the invite is October 18 to 25, 2010. And the text reads: "Save the Week, For the Wedding of Katy & Russell. You will be contacted soon with more information."
The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker insisted they are planning a "small" wedding focusing solely on their love for one another with only their family and friends.
"The wedding will be small. I always have a ton of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each others' lives," said Perry.
