‘Laden body was flown to US’

In a new twist to Osama bin Laden saga, emails leaked from an intelligence analysis firm say the body of the al Qaeda leader was actually sent to the US for cremation than buried in sea.

Leaked e-mails from an intelligence analysis firm have suggested that former Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden’s dead body was actually sent to the US for cremation.

According to e-mails, Bin Laden’s body was transported to the US after he was killed in a Navy Seals raid in an Abbottabad on May 2.

The revelation is in contrast to an earlier Obama statement that his body was buried at sea, off the USS Carl Vinson.
