The pop icon was concerned about the plight of the eight babies born to "penniless" Suleman who already has six children and had offered to adopt them, reported Mirror online.

The 50-year-old singer who has three children, two with ex-wife Debbie Rowe and one with an unknown surrogate, was desperate for a larger family and had contacted Suleman's publicist Victor Munoz for the adoption.

Munoz told the newspaper that Jackson had personally called him and said, "Blanket would love to have more siblings. I could take care of all the babies, they could live with me and wouldn’t need for anything. They would have a bright future."

The 'Thriller' legend had reportedly become concerned about the young children of unemployed single mom Suleman. He was amazed by news footage of octuplets Malia, Jonah, Isaiah, Nariah, Jeremiah, McCai, Josiah and Noah, who were born through artificial insemination.

"He said, 'I want to take care of Nadya. She will be happy and won’t have to worry about caring for her children any more,'" said Munoz.
