US President Barack Obama said yesterday that he believed "significant progress" was possible in the Middle East peace process this year, and vowed the "full weight" of US involvement.
Now is the time to move forward from the current "dead end," Obama said as he met with Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas in the White House.
