The meeting comes in the wake of reports that Sunanda Pushkar offered to surreder her sweat equity as she was distressed by the entire controversy.

“Kochi issue will be resolved. I am confident the Kochi team will continue and contribute to the success of IPL," said Modi.

"It is not Modi Vs Tharoor. It is not BJP Vs Congress or any other political party or political leader. My priority is cricket,” he said. There has been talk of a section of BCCI being unhappy with his way of functioning. Modi refuted the rumours saying. “I have no differences,” he said.
