About 125 passengers of Mumbai-bound Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul were forced to pass a harried night at Tehran after the plane made an unscheduled halt due to an electrical problem.

The passengers of the TK-1074 flight were disembarked at the Tehran airport on Friday night but were not allowed to go to a hotel for the night due to visa issues.
A number of angry passengers were seen arguing with the Ailrine officials about the ordeal.
The plane was at Tehran till Saturday morning and was expected to take off in a few hours.
The plane that took off at 1900 hrs (Istanbul time) on Friday night made the unscheduled halt after two-and-a-half hours of flight.
The pilot, R Cecil, told said on phone from Tehran that the landing there was due to some electrical problem that the plane had developed, he said.
