Nepal President Ram Baran Yadav has asked all political parties to form a consensus government by January 21.
If the parties fail to agree on government formation, another round of voting, to elect a Prime Minister, will begin after that date.

The fresh attempt follows withdrawal of Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel, the lone candidate, from the deadlocked PM poll on January 12.
