The resolution also expressed “concern” over the situation the execution had created in Jammu and Kashmir and said Kashmiris were “not alone in this movement as the whole of Pakistan was with them”.

The National Assembly passed the resolution moved by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who heads a special parliamentary panel on Kashmir.

New Delhi reacted sharply, asking Islamabad not to dabble in the internal matters of India.
