Pak to decide on poll date on Tuesday

The Pak Election Commission seeks reports from provincial Govt's and provincial election commissioners on the situation before deciding.

Pakistan's Election Commission will decide on Tuesday whether to postpone a general election scheduled for Jan 8, a commission official said on Monday.

"We have called for reports from the provincial governments and provincial election commissioners on the situation. The reports will reach Islamabad by Monday evening and we will decide tomorrow," commission secretary Kanwar Dilshad told reporters.
