Pakistan can't confirm accord with India on talks

Pakistan and India are making progress in attempts to resume formal talks broken after the 2008 Mumbai attack, a Pakistani official said on Thursday.

Pakistan and India are making progress in attempts to resume formal talks broken after the 2008 Mumbai attack, a Pakistani official said on Thursday. But he could not confirm an agreement had been reached to re-establish a formal dialogue.

"Things have moved forward in the recent talks between the foreign secretaries of the two countries in Bhutan. We are on the right track," a senior foreign ministry official said.
