Among the tried and tested theories in philosophy and economics, the bad penny holds a unique position. Unlike dust, which usually returns to dust and rarely, if ever, is seen again, the bad penny often resurfaces. Quite similar to a Paris Hilton video, which seems to have no expiration date.

And so we have another Paris video making its way to YouTube, and various other video sites. It is difficult, really, to understand the aura of the billionaire heiress, and to fathom the reason she is so popular on the Web and on TV. She is rich, yes, but she is surely not Jessica Alba when it comes to looks. And when it comes to nudity, surely there are thousands of others who take their clothes off. Yet, Paris rules.

The new video is part 2 of an earlier bathtub video which was banned after Hilton acquired an injunction against the tapes being sold or displayed on video sites. This bathtub video has Hilton joking about her earlier sex tapes, all in the nude, of course. According to US gossip web sites, this tape was kept in a security vault, but was auctioned off since the billionaire forgot to pay her a rent of $208 to a Los Angeles storage facility.

E! Online reports that the vault was sold to an unnamed buyer for $2275, but was later bought by David Hans Schmidt, a collector and trader of celebrity photos and video tapes. He is reportedly ready to sell the collection of Paris memorabilia for $20 million. Though, with free videos of Paris’s bathtub stunts making rounds on the Web, who would want to buy them, anyway.
