A Karachi-bound PIA flight with 204 passengers on board on Wednesday made an emergency landing at Faisalabad after an anonymous caller claimed that a bomb had been planted on the aircraft.
No explosive was, however, found on board the Pakistan International Airways plane after a thorough search by the authorities, officials said.

The flight was on its way from Lahore to Karachi when the authorities received an anonymous call about a bomb being planted on it. The pilot made an emergency landing at Faisalabad and the passengers were evacuated while security agencies carried out a search of the aircraft, they said.
The aircraft was later cleared to resume its journey, they said.
