PM arrives for G20 Summit

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Pittsburgh on Thursday on a two-day visit to attend the G20 summit, which will discuss the steps to quicken the global economic recovery from its worst crisis.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Pittsburgh on Thursday on a two-day visit to attend the G20 summit, which will discuss the steps to quicken the global economic recovery from its worst crisis.

After a over-night stay in Frankfurt, Singh, accompanied by National Security Adviser MK Narayanan and other officials, arrived in Pittsburgh.

He will attend a dinner tonight hosted by President Barack Obama for the world leaders attending the Summit.

Tomorrow, the Prime Minister will join the world leaders in the summit and will also hold discussions with new Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama.
