'Power supply could partially resume at Japan nuke plant'

The power supply to a quake-damaged Japanese nuclear plant northeast of Tokyo could partially resume later on Thursday, the country's nuclear safety agency said, according to Kyodo News.

The power supply to a quake-damaged Japanese nuclear plant northeast of Tokyo could partially resume later on Thursday, the country's nuclear safety agency said, according to Kyodo News.

The plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO), said earlier it was concentrating on restoring the power supply to reactivate the facility's crippled cooling systems, which were knocked out in Friday's quake and tsunami.
