Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari said on Thursday that Pakistan would continue to pursue a resolution of the Kashmir dispute based on the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

In a message marking the Kashmir solidarity day, Zardari reiterated Pakistan's “political, moral and diplomatic support to the struggle of the Kashmiri brethren for their right to self-determination”.

Zardari said that the issue of Kashmir would be part of the dialogue process between Pakistan and India.
"We will continue to support the Kashmiri people in their quest for realising their right to self-determination. Pakistan calls for an end to the human rights violations in the Indian occupied Kashmir," he said.
