The pregnancy of actor Mel Gibson's Russian lover seems to be the reason behind his wife's divorce plea.
According to a report by the Sun online, Robyn Gibson decided to end her 28-year old marriage after she came to know that the actor's Russian lover Oksana Grigorieva is pregnant.
Robyn had filed for divorce on April 13, saying she and Gibson had secretly separated since August 2006, weeks after the actor's arrest for driving under alcohol influence.
53-year-old Robyn was "horrified" to find that the 'Braveheart´ star had shifted Oksana, 39, and her 11-year-old son to one of his mansions in California.
"Robyn put up with Mel for years but when she found out Oksana was telling friends she was expecting, it was the last straw," the report quoted a source as saying.
"Robyn wants a 'quickie´ divorce, one that isn't contested, with their assets divided later," the source said.
Gibson stands to lose half of his 680 million pounds after the divorce.
Meanwhile, Oksana was spotted outside Gibson's mansion chatting on her mobile with what appeared to be a baby bump under her pink shirt.
Last month, the pair was also spotted frolicking on a beach in Costa Rica.
