Sikhs to face 2 screenings

A new procedure adopted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the federal agency in charge of security at American airports, demands that Sikh passengers undergo a secondary screening for the turban he wears.

A new procedure adopted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the federal agency in charge of security at American airports, demands that Sikh passengers undergo a secondary screening for the turban he wears.

Turbans would be screened for non-metallic items even if the passenger had cleared a metal detector or had voluntarily gone through the new body scanners.
