Singaporean President S R Nathan is undertaking a week-long private visit to India.

Singaporean President S R Nathan is undertaking a week-long private visit to India.
The 86-year old leader, who was elected President in September 1999, will be in India from December 12-19. He last visited the country in March this year.
J Y Pillay, Chairman of the Council of Presidential Advisers, will be Acting President during Nathan's absence, according to local media reports.
