Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle was set up in 2004 after India's Tata Motors Ltd acquired South Korea's troubled Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Company.

The sales unit will sell Tata Novus and Tata Prima across the nation, it said yesterday.

Tata Daewoo has rolled out the two heavy truck models to compete with Hyundai Motor, the country's leading automaker. Tata Daewoo's large-sized truck market share in South Korea is estimated at around 30 per cent.
