Shannon Magee has slept through birthdays, Christmases, a family skiing trip to the Alps and even her GCSEs because of the Kleine-Levin Syndrome.

The 17-year-old student has these episodes once a month, when she sleepwalks naked, hallucinates, nods off for 22 hours a day and becomes irritable when awake.

Doctors diagnosed her and put her on medicines used for epilepsy only after her dad Christopher looked up her symptoms online.
