05:15 - Activists on board the Rachel Corrie report that two Israeli naval vessels are approaching the port side of the ship after shadowing them for the previous two hours, the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign says.
"They were followed by Israeli warships. Their radars were jammed but the satellite phones were working," a spokesman for the Dublin-based Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign says after making phone contact with the ship.
06:30 - A spokesman for the welcoming committee awaiting the ship in Gaza says that the Rachel Corrie has been intercepted 35 miles off the coast. The report is immediately denied by the Israeli military.
09:12 - A military spokesman says the ship has ignored an order for it to change course and dock in the southern coastal city of Ashdod.
