The tests which confirmed the presence of the A(H1N1) virus were carried out at a laboratory in London, the health ministry said.

The young man, who arrived in Kiev after working in New York, was hospitalised on May 26 with muscle pains and a headache. He has since recovered and checked out of on Friday.
