The sculpture, which has been erected in Magnificent Mile, shows Monroe's famous pose with her eyes closed and a sublime smile on her face, reports the Daily Express.

The pose has been taken from Monroe's film The Seven Year Itch, when a draft catches her dress as she passes over a grate.

Artist Seward Johnson has made the statue.
