Aamir Khan has been shooting in a village in Ludhiana, Punjab, for the past few weeks for his next film. Apparently, the actor recently finished shooting there, and will nowhead to another village called Dango, for the rest of the schedule. Interestingly, this village, which is in the Pakhowal Tehsil in Ludhiana, is veteran actor Dharmendra’s ancestral village.

“When Aamir learnt that Dango is Dharmendraji’s village, he got so excited that he called him up immediately, and told him about it,” says an insider.

Apparently, Dharmendra, too, was quite excited to learn that the Bollywood star will be shooting in Dango, and he wished him all the best for the rest of the shoot. “They chatted about the film at length. In fact, Aamir has promised Dharamji that he will organise a special screening for him as soon as the film is ready,” says the source.
