Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani blessed with a baby girl, Hema Malini becomes granny again

Bollywood actor Esha Deol and husband Bharat Takhtani have been blessed with their first child and are now proud parents of a baby girl. Esha is Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s daughter.

Former Bollywood actor Esha Deol and husband Bharat Takhtani have been blessed with their first child and are now proud parents of a baby girl. Their bundle of joy was born late Sunday at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. Esha’s mom, actor and politician Hema Malini became grandmother for the second time -- her younger daughter Ahaana welcomed her son, Darien, two years ago.

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani’s baby girl was born on Sunday. Esha is the daughter of Bollywood stars Dharmendra and Hema Malini.

Esha has been sharing gorgeous pictures throughout of her journey of pregnancy on Instagram. From a scenic holiday in Greece to two elaborate baby showers, Esha has shared her celebrations with fans throughout her pregnancy.

Posting pictures from her babymoon in Greece, Esha wrote: “Maternity shoot with my hubby @bharattakhtani3 at Santorini Greece. Making lovely memories together.” Esha and Bharat can be seen indulging in a maternity photoshoot and spending time with friends. Two photographs are heart-meltingly beautiful -- one of them has Esha and Bharat posing against a blue door framed by whitewashed walls. In another, the duo pose against white buildings in Santorini, Greece.

She also shared pictures from Diwali celebrations.

Esha and Bharat tied the knot in 2012. The news of Esha’s pregnancy was confirmed by Ramkamal Mukherjee who was then writing the biography of Hema Malini. “Ya, actually I am writing a book so I visit their house often, and all I can say is Hemaji and the whole family is thrilled with Esha’s pregnancy, she is expecting the baby anytime in October, and she is at Hemaji’s house and Hemaji and Dharamji are obviously very happy! Bharat is also very excited and is taking most of the days off from work to spend time with Esha,” he had said then. Hema Malini had then tweeted to confirm the news.

The memoirs was launched earlier in October where the entire family was present along with Deepika Padukone who launched the book.

Esha has earlier worked in films such as Dhoom and Yuva. She has been missing from the big screen for a while now.
