Liverpool added yet another fairytale comeback to their illustrious history as they fought back from 3-1 down against Borussia Dortmund to reach the Europa League semi-finals after Dejan Lovren’s stoppage-time header secured a 4-3 win for the Reds on Thursday.
It was one of the best comebacks by any club in the recent past and Twitter was fast to react to Liverpool’s amazing fightback against Juergen Klopp’s former club.
Club rivalries aside I begrudge no team when they win like that. Well done Liverpool— ArsenalFanTV (@ArsenalFanTV) April 14, 2016

Many Twitter users also compared the victory to the club’s famous comeback win against AC Milan in the 2005 Uefa Champions League final when they fought back from a 3-0 first-half deficit.
This is the first time since Istanbul in 2005 that Liverpool have won a European tie after being 2 goals down. pic.twitter.com/UVof6nHB3r— Squawka Football (@Squawka) April 14, 2016

But arguably, the best tweet of the night came from Borussia Dortmund who were quite gracious in defeat.
