Competition? What’s that, asks Aditi Singh Sharma
The singer believes the Indian music industry has enough space for all budding artists.
Singer Aditi Singh Sharma is not one to fear competition, as she believes the music industry has enough space for all artists — veterans or new talent.
“These days, there are a lot of opportunities for budding singers. Actors are singing, we (professional singers) are singing, and seasoned artists like Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal are also getting sufficient projects, then it definitely means that there is a lot of space for everyone and I am so happy that it is this way,” says Sharma, who is known for songs such as Luv Ka The End, Raabta, Offo and Sooraj Dooba Hai.

Ask her about the trend of having multiple artists in a single music album, and she only has positive things to say about it. “I don’t think having many singers in one album creates negative competition. On the contrary, it gives a chance to so many singers and that’s a great thing,” says Sharma.
