Punjabi music director Sachin Ahuja censured for making ‘insensitive’ comments
After arousing such acerbic reaction from public, Sachin apologised through a post on Wednesday. He said, “I can never be against Sikhism. My apologies to the community. My intentions were not wrong. I am also in favour of the movie, main agyaani ho sakda ha akritghrana kade nahi (I can be ignorant but never ungrateful).”
The social media reacted vehemently to music director Sachin Ahuja’s remarks on promotion of Satinder Sartaaj’s new movie ‘The Black Prince.’ The issue started when Ahuja reacted to a post saying that celebrities are not promoting the movie on social media. He wrote, “We only promote things and people whom we like personally.”
He further wrote, “Jinne he Sikh kaum de subhchintak ne, baar baar vekh k film hit kar len (all well wishers of the Sikh community can turn the movie a hit by watching it repeatedly).” After this comment, Sachin had to face the music as a lot of people started abusing him on the social media.
