Main Hoon Rajinikanth-fame director Faisal Saif has refuted talk that he will appear on reality show Bigg Boss 8 as a wild card entry. The buzz had started two days ago.
"Why would I be a wild card contestant when Rajinikanth has proved the world that I am a strongest contender?” he said on Friday. “Coming to Bigg Boss… Well, it's a fantastic show with some fabulous people behind it. I am personally a huge fan of the show but I am not going for it. Neither am I going to the Bigg Boss house, nor am I changing any title for my film. At this moment, I am very much occupied with both my films, Main Hoon Rajinikanth and Amma."
Faisal Saif is the writer and director of Jigyaasa (2006), 5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore (2012) and more recently Main Hoon Rajinikanth on which superstar Rajinikanth got a stay from Madras high court.
"As far as my point of view goes, some people misunderstood the Bigg Boss concept totally. It's a platform where celebrities from different mentalities and religion should come and preach the world about how individuals must live peacefully under one roof," the director added.
Some reports earlier said Faisal Saif would be the fifth wild card entry on the controversial reality show. They also claimed he would make an entry with International TV star Kim Kardashian. Incidentally, Kardashian's visit, too, was cancelled due to some issues related to her visa to India. Kim was supposed to visit the Bigg Boss house as a guest on Saturday.
