After releasing the intriguing character posters of the short film, makers of Carbon released the trailer Thursday afternoon. The 1.33-minute trailer takes us to 2067 where oxygen is not just a gas but fuels a trillion-dollar industry. The only thing available in abundance in this world set in the future is Carbon.

Starring Jackky Bhagnani, Nawazzudin Siddiqui, Prachi Desai and Yashpal Sharma, the film brings forth one of the biggest concerns of the planet and weaves it with unique plot and storyline. While Jackky plays a man living on Earth with an artificial heart, Nawaz is a resident of Mars.

An eerie moment appears in the trailer when Nawaz tells Jackky: “The day froth started appearing on Delhi’s river, it was game over for Earth.” Scary enough?

In association with Large Short Films, written and directed by Maitrey Bajpai and Ramiz Ilham Khan, produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Gautam Gupta, Carbon will be released on Large Short Films’ YouTube channel.
