Comedian Shyam Rangeela, who appeared on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge this weekend, made Akshay Kumar and the other judges laugh out loud as he mimicked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.

The video, that is going viral online, shows Rangeela speaking as Modi and talking about the hit TV show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Of course, there is a reference to the demonetisation announcement. In the video, he also mimics Rahul Gandhi.

This is not the first time Rangeela mimicked a politician. He has been popular for aping the political leaders for more than a year now. He first came to limelight with a video, titled ‘Modi’s reaction to Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai’, in November last year.

Another video of Rangeela at Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jaipur, is also quite popular. Rangeela imitates both Modi and Gandhi in the video where they talk about ‘gol-gappas’.

Recent reports claimed that the judges-cum-mentors, comedians Zakir Khan, Mallika Dua and Hussain Dalal, will be replaced by Shreyas Talpade and Sajid Khan.

The show is a talent hunt to find the next big stand-up comedian through a pan India search. Zakir Khan, Mallika Dua and Hussain Dalal were expected to identify good talents and nurture them. Now, the onus will be on Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade to groom deserving talents on the show.
