Sonu, Raahat replace judges on Chhote Ustaad 2

Chotte Ustad 2, the singing reality show for kids on Star Plus, kickstarts at the end of July with playback singers Sonu Niigam and Raahat Fateh Ali Khan as the judges.

Sonu NigamChotte Ustad 2, the singing reality show for kids on Star Plus, kickstarts at the end of July with playback singers Sonu Niigam and Raahat Fateh Ali Khan as the judges. They duo have replaced music composer Pritam and singer Kunal Ganjawala who along with singer Shreya were the judges for Season 1.

The first season ended in 2008 with Aishwarya, 11, winning the contest. Reportedly, the show will now return in a weekend slot and start soon after Zara Nachke Dikha, wraps up. Niigaam confirms the news: “I’m really looking forward to interacting with the singing stars of the future.”

According to a source, Shreya Ghoshal may return on Season 2 or could be replaced by Alka Yagnik who was one of the judges on the first season of Voice Of India that aired on Star Plus.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty has started rehearsing for her performance in the finale of Zara Nachke Dikha. It’s supposedly a complicated dance piece and the actress will continue to rehearse for the next couple of days.
