The 25th carnival of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC) was a well-attended affair. Better organised than last year’s, the two-day fest saw students having a ball.

“Our annual carn-ival has matured with time. With each year we’re getting more colleges to participate,” says Jatinder Bir Singh, principal, SGGSCC. “These two days are dedicated to students. We give them a platform to experiment with innovative ideas and enjoy themselves.”

Komal Kaur, a B.Com (H) student had been waiting for the fest all along. “After attending fests of other colleges, I was eagerly awaiting our carnival. Wish it could last longer.” Besides the dance performances and street plays, there were tarot card reading stalls and a stand-up comic act titled Laughter Dose.

“These are the last few days to chill out before the semester exams,” says BA student Gursheen Kaur.
