Navjot Singh Sidhu gives rest to his vocal cords after election campaigning

Congress candidate from Amritsar East Navjot Singh Sidhu was in a flurry of meetings and rallies as part of the election campaigns since past two weeks for the party. However, as the deal was sealed with the polling on Saturday, the cricketer-turned-politician chose to stay indoors throughout the day on Sunday.

Sidhu, who was travelling across the state in a helicopter for the campaigns, finally got some respite as now, the only work left is to wait for the results on March 11.

After resting till 10.30 am, Sidhu dressed up in a brown pathani kurta-pajama and met party workers and well-wishers at his residential office in Amritsar. Even youngsters gathered at his house requesting for a selfie.

Congress candidate from Majitha Sukhjinder Singh Lali Majithia and from Amritar North Sunil Dutti, were also seen having tea with Sidhu at his home.

However, Sidhu did not seem completely relaxed as he was not very forthcoming with people who visited his place.

The Congress leader, who made the best use of his oratory skills in past 15 days and was taking on the Badals throughout his aggressive speeches, finally gave rest to his vocal chords.
