AAP’s Kailash Gahlot wins Najafgarh assembly seat

Delhi assembly election results 2020 : AAP candidate Kailash Gahlot has won from the Najafgarh seat. The other candidates fighting from this assembly seat were Congress’ Sahab Singh Yadav and BJP’s Ajit Kharkhari.

Najafgarh is a suburban assembly seat that comes under the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Aam Aadmi Party’s Kailash Gahlot has won from this seat. The constituency has around 3,32,919 eligible voters in this constituency. He had won the seat in 2015 as well. The candidates who contested in Delhi Assembly Elections 2020 from Najafgarh seats are:

Kailash Gahlot -- AAP

Sahab Singh Yadav -- INC

Ajit Kharkhari -- BJP

According to early trends, BJP candidate Ajeet Singh Kharkhari was leading in Najafgarh. He started strong by taking an early lead. However, he was soon over taken by AAP’s Kailash Gahlot .

BJP and AAP continue to exchange spots in Najafgarh till the final result went in favour of Gahlot. He won by 6,231 votes.
