"Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led BJD will regret the decision to part ways with the NDA after the elections," Swaraj in-charge of Lok Sabha polls in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand told reporters on Monday night.

Patnaik was unable to assess the situation correctly as those close to him have misguided him on the issue, she said.

Swaraj, who arrived in Bhopal after her name was announced as the party candidate for the Vidisha Lok Sabha seat which had earlier elected stalwarts like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and noted journalist Ramnath Goenka, said that she has no ambition to run a parallel power centre in Madhya Pradesh.

"I am not interested in becoming a parallel power centre in Madhya Pradesh nor in state politics," she said.
