Duranto passengers stop train, create ruckus in Bhopal

Passengers onboard the Nizamuddin-Chennai Duranto Express, which was running over 15 hours late, pulled the chain at Bhopal station at 5.20pm on Tuesday and created ruckus for more than an hour.

The passengers alleged that they didn’t get food on time and the staff of the train misbehaved with them when they made queries.

Due to the ruckus, there was chaos at Bhopal station. Finally, the railway authorities approached the passengers and tried to pacify them.

Bhopal railway station manager Pradeep Singh told HT that passengers made a written complaint and pacified after assurance that their complaint has been accepted. The train left the station at 6.55pm,” he said.
