Minibus overturns 1 seriously injured

A serious mishap was averted when a minibus with 25 passengers on board overturned on Hoshangabad Road near Gayatri Mandir but all the passengers except one escaped with minor injuries.

A serious mishap was averted when a minibus with 25 passengers on board overturned on Hoshangabad Road near Gayatri Mandir but all the passengers except one escaped with minor injuries.

The minibus was promptly brought to its normal position with the help of a crane and passengers were taken out of it. The only person who had received multiple injuries was admitted to JP Hospital and was later shifted to Narmada hospital. According to MP Nagar police, the accident happened at 11.30 am when the bus driver lost his control over the bus and it collided with the divider and tipped on its side.

Syed Abdul Khan, 40, a resident of Shahpura, was injured seriously and taken by ambulance to the JP Hospital. Later, he was shifted to the Narmada Hospital. The driver succeeded in escaping from the spot. Police have registered a case and further investigations were being made.
