The SIT had summoned him on Tuesday as Mishra had questioned the credibility of the investigation conducted by the special task force (STF) into the scam.

In his submission, he said former chief minister Uma Bharti's name had come up during the investigations, but she was never quizzed. He had also said that former director general of police Nandan Dubey had gone to her house after she expressed anger over her name cropping in the scam.

The Congress leader also raised the issue of policemen who were given postings despite failing the recruitment examination. Mishra will appear before the SIT next month. The high court constituted the SIT to monitor the STF's investigation of the PEB scam.
