62nd National Film Awards: Twin wins for Queen Kangana Ranaut

Mary Kom was named the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Vikas Bahl's Queen has been named the Best Hindi film at the 62nd National Film Awards. Kangana Ranaut has been adjudged the Best Actress for her performance in Queen. Kangana has earlier won the Best Supporting Actress award for Fashion in 2008.

Court has been declared the Best Feature film. Kannada actor Vijay won the Best Actor for Nanu Avanalla Avalu while Bengali director Srijit Mukherji won the Best Director award for Chotushkone.

The Supporting Actor awards was begged by Tamil actor Bobby Simha for Jigarthanda and Baljinder Kaur for Haryanvi film Pagdi - The Honour.

Mary Kom was named the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Haider turned out to be the winner of several awards including Best Choreography, Music Direction, Costume Design and Male Playback Singer for Sukhwinder Singh.

Killa was named Best Marathi Film while Harivu was declared the Best Kannada Film.

Nirbashito won the same award in Bengali Film category.
