Aamir Khan not likely to star in Lagaan 2

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who is currently working on his next Dangal in Punjab, may not be a part of the sequel to his 2001 hit Lagaan.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who is currently working on his next Dangal in Punjab, may not be a part of the sequel to his 2001 hit Lagaan.

Sources have told ANI that the 50-year-old star won’t be engaged in the second installment of Ashutosh Gowariker’s film.

The leading lady of the film, however, remains the same: Rock On actor Prachi Desai has agreed to play the female lead in the sequel.

Aamir Khan is currently shooting Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal, where he will be plays the role of legendary wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. This will be Aamir’s most bulked-up role so far. The 50-year-old actor will portray two phases of his character in Dangal and for that he will also lose weight after the first phase of the shooting gets over.
